Software on OUHEP Alpha Machines
Fermi Products
The following Fermi products have been installed on OU DØ
alpha machines. These products are
accessible by doing setup productname [version] at the shell prompt.
See the setup man pages. The d0 login scripts
/etc/profile_d0setup
for Bourne type shells, and
/usr/local/bin/d0.login
for C type
shells must be invoked via: . /etc/profile_d0setup
or
source /usr/local/bin/d0.login
,
preferably from $HOME/.kshrc
or
$HOME/.profile
for Bourne type
shells, and $HOME/.login
for C type
shells, to enable the setup
command. The d0 login scripts setup products kerberos, www, and setxwin by default.

Local Software
The software on OUHEP Alpha machines has been reorganized. Most
UNIX utilities are maintained by the CLEO group. Those not maintained
by the CLEO group are maintained by the D0 group. These UNIX
utilities mostly reside in /usr/local/bin
. Some of the
utilities in that directory are also Fermi
products, which when setup will supersede the versions in
/usr/local/bin
.
Most of the following products have been installed in /usr/local/bin
.
