Within the city of Norman public transportation is limited. Lodging facilities within walking distance of the workshop are available.

Driving Directions

From I-35
The closest airport is Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City (see first map). Follow the signs towards I-35 South, Dallas, via I-44 West (yes, WEST) and I-240 East, to get to Norman. For those traveling from Dallas, Norman is about 2.5 hours North, on I-35. From I-35, take the Highway 9 exit EAST, 108A. Follow Highway 9 east for several miles to Jenkins Ave, turn left (north). Take your first right (east) onto David L. Boren Blvd., and the Stephenson Research and Technology Center is on your immediate left. This is on the far bottom right (south east) corner of the second map above.

Parking
Turn left (north) into the SRTC parking lot (behind the buiding), and park in the visitors spaces, which are the two east-west-facing rows on the north and south side of the main drive way to the main entrance (which is on the north end of the building). It is at H-23 on this Parking Map and Building 62 on this Campus Map. The interactice Flash map requires Flash 8, by the way.

Location
The workshop will be in Room 1030 of the SRTC, which is on the east side of the main atrium. Enter the building from the north side, and it will be on your left behind the reception desk.

The Physics Department is Nielsen Hall, by the way, in case you'd like to visit us there -- marked with a on the second map above. It is at D-5 on the Parking Map and Building 27 on the Campus Map.
