This is a new version of Mindterm (version 2.1). You will be presented with two dialog boxes that request permission for access by terminal emulators and for permission to modify your files. YOU MUST CLICK ACCEPT on the dialog boxes for Mindterm to work. Sometimes the boxes appear behind other windows on your screen. If nothing is happening, check under your existing windows for hidden dialog boxes and click on "Accept" to get Mindterm started.

If you would like to use this applet without the need to download it (e.g. to use it at home without downloading each time you do), simply sign on to one of our systems and "scp" the two files /users/sysadmin/mindterm/runit_ie.html and /users/sysadmin/mindterm/mindterm_2.1-bin/mindterm_ie.jar to a directory on your system. You can then open runit_ie.html in IE and run the local copy. For your convenience while traveling you might simply put these files on a floppy and load them from it.
